Shuttle Bus Service to King Tut

On weekends and holidays, a fleet of 24-seat, ADA-accessible, alternative fuel buses will pick up and drop off visitors at various locations in and around Golden Gate Park.

Cost: $2 per visitor per day

Exact change required; ADA riders will be served on a complimentary basis. Cost not eligible for de Young or California Academy of Sciences transportation discounts.

Golden Gate Park Intra-Park Shuttle

During the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival on the weekend of October 3 and 4 the Golden Gate Park Shuttle route will follow JFK Drive through the festival to the Ocean Beach parking lot on the Great Highway. It will then proceed to Lincoln Avenue eastbound, where it returns to the park on 25th Avenue, where it will follow MLK Drive to the Music Concourse where it resumes its regular route.

Shuttles will pick up and drop off visitors throughout the park Saturdays, Sundays and major holidays year round, including July 4; Labor Day; Columbus Day; Veteran's Day; New Year's Day; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; Presidents' Day; and Memorial Day; December 19–31; and April 5–8.

Buses arrive at each stop every 15–20 minutes starting at 9 am and the last departs at 6 pm. There are a total of 15 stops from McLaren lodge at the east end of the park to Ocean Beach to the UCSF garage. See map below for all stop locations (marked 1–15).
